With school, work, relationships & friends . . . this is definitely the busiest day in age. It can all feel so overwhelming at times and like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. If there is one thing that I have learned from the crazy world of PR, it is how to multitask. It has taken quite some time, but I do consider myself a master!

Breathe

This is most important. Stressing yourself out and causing anxiety attacks is pointless. It will all get done. Just sit & breathe.

Plan

Always always always PLAN! Jot down a to-do list of everything that needs to get done and if there is a deadline date for work, put that down too.  I don’t care if this list includes folding laundry, write it down.

Prioritize

The key to multitasking is to know what is most important. Set yourself dates in which you want homework assignments done or what day you plan to study. Put your list in order of importance!

Switch It Up

I like to switch things up when working on multiple projects. Spend an hour on this task and then change to another mindset with a different task. It is recommended to switch tasks often so you don’t beat your brain in.

Don’t Be Afraid

Don’t ever let your ego get in the way and be afraid to ask for help. We are not super people and there are times that we all need a helping hand. Ask your friends to keep you company while studying or a co worker to assist in brainstorming ideas. Truth is people like to feel needed.

The world is only going to get busier with things to do. It’s best if you tackle the stress now and learn that EVERYTHING WILL BE OKAY! Promise. Take it from me, I went to school full time, worked full time, had a boyfriend & personal life . . . you can do it too!
